Atlas 150 Spaghetti Alla Chitarra Attachment
The Italian word "Chitarra" (pronounced key-tahr-rah) translated into English is "guitar". A traditional Chitarra, which originates from the Abruzzo region in central Italy, has a series of metal wires within a frame and resembles a guitar. The width of the tool allows for perfectly uniform strands of pasta to be formed and gives the pasta its name 'Spghetti Alla Chitarra'.
The Spaghetti Chitarra has a square cross-section, instead of round, and produces pasta that is 2 mm thick - approximately twice the size of regular spaghetti. The recommended thickness for the pasta sheet is position 4 on the adjustment knob of the pasta machine. The attachment can be used by hand, with the handle provided, or with the Pastadrive motor (sold separately).
Atlas 150 Accessories are made with chrome-plated steel and anodised aluminium alloy rollers. As a result, no metals are released onto the pasta, providing you with a product that is 100% healthy and wholesome.
