The Silictaps uses the same double-lever extraction mechanism as the rest of the Pulltex waiter's corkscrew range, the system that lets you pull a cork in two controlled vertical steps without breaking or fragmenting it. The difference from the Pulltap Button Lever is the handle: the Silictaps has a silicone insert rather than a rigid ergonomic grip, which gives it a softer feel and a slightly more secure hold during extraction.
